One of the coolest things about doing radio every day is getting to discover new music and spin songs that get stuck in your head—in the best way possible. Every week, I’m going to share three tracks that are either in rotation here on Q102 or just something living on my personal playlist that I think you need to check out.

This isn’t a “Top 40 countdown,” and it’s not about the charts—it’s just about the songs that are hitting me right now, and maybe they’ll hit you the same way.

Here are this week’s three tracks that I can’t get enough of: Halloween style

Gwar – Lot Lizzard

It wouldn’t be Halloween without GWAR! The band recently appeared on The Last Drive-In with Joe Bob Briggs — a pairing that couldn’t be more perfect. Their latest release is an instant favorite, and this new track and video are a must-add to your Halloween playlist.

Alice Cooper – (He’s Back) The Man Behind The Mask

Alice Cooper and Jason Voorhees — what more could you ask for in a Halloween song?
Originally released in 1986 for Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives, this track still holds up today. It’s a seriously underrated gem, and I even got to hear Alice perform it live back in Rogers when he was on tour with Rob Zombie — an unforgettable moment.

Michael Jackson – Thriller

How can you have a Halloween song list and not have this one listed?
