One of the coolest things about doing radio every day is getting to discover new music and spin songs that get stuck in your head—in the best way possible. Every week, I’m going to share three tracks that are either in rotation here on Q102 or just something living on my personal playlist that I think you need to check out.

This isn’t a “Top 40 countdown,” and it’s not about the charts—it’s just about the songs that are hitting me right now, and maybe they’ll hit you the same way.

Here are this week’s three tracks that I can’t get enough of:

1.) FiRSUN – Speak

Every once in a while, YouTube actually gets it right—and FiRSUN is proof. Their ad popped up in my feed (which I usually skip without a second thought), but this time I clicked, and holy hell am I glad I did.

Their EP Speak is tight, powerful, and impossible to turn off. I don’t know much about these guys yet, but I’m already hooked—and trust me, this band is one to watch. Fingers crossed, I can have them on for an interview soon, because FiRSUN is the real deal.

2.) Silly Goose – Neighbors

Silly Goose might not be brand new, but they’re new to me—and I’m kicking myself for not finding them sooner.

The first time I hit play, I honestly thought they were some hidden gem from the early 2000s nu-metal wave that I somehow missed. But nope—this is fresh, current, and absolutely relentless. Tracks like Bad Behavior and King of the Hill are straight-up punches to the face in the best way possible.

Their newest single, Neighbors, just dropped on the album Keys to the City and it’s dripping with that raw, nu-metal energy. This band is chaotic, fun, and loaded with attitude—and I’m all in. Can’t wait to see what they unleash next.

3.) Tantric – Astounded

This one’s a throwback straight to junior high for me. Astounded and Tantric’s debut album was the soundtrack to those years when everything felt new—when curiosity was endless and the future was wide open.

Yeah, it’s a shame that lineup only lasted for two albums, but man… what a run. Hugo and the guys left us with some absolute gems, and this debut is still one I go back to all the time. I even have it on vinyl. Every spin brings back that same rush of excitement and nostalgia—and it never fails to make me smile.
