One of the coolest things about doing radio every day is getting to discover new music and spin songs that get stuck in your head—in the best way possible. Every week, I’m going to share three tracks that are either in rotation here on Q102 or just something living on my personal playlist that I think you need to check out.
This isn’t a “Top 40 countdown,” and it’s not about the charts—it’s just about the songs that are hitting me right now, and maybe they’ll hit you the same way.
Here are this week’s three tracks that I can’t get enough of:
1.) Three Days Grace – “Kill Me Fast”
Seeing Three Days Grace at Thunder Ridge a few weeks ago with Breaking Benjamin was incredible. I was absolutely blown away by how good they sounded live. Adam and Matt complement each other perfectly, and this new album really showcases that dynamic.
“Kill Me Fast” is catchy AF—it’s been stuck in my head since the show. It’s awesome to see Three Days Grace still going this strong this far into their career.
2.) Mammoth – “The Spell”
I had the chance to interview Wolfgang last week, and it was great catching up with him. The guy is a Grammy Award–nominated singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist—he can pretty much play anything.
Mammoth’s new album The End drops October 24th, and I’m genuinely looking forward to it.
3.) The Vanns – “Accomplice”
Not sure this is a track that fits rotation on Q102, but once again the YouTube algorithm pulled me in.
The Vanns have been around for a while, and their sound carries a 90’s rock vibe that feels oddly refreshing. Bonus: the lead singer looks like a young Sting—which is kind of wild.
