One of the coolest things about doing radio every day is getting to discover new music and spin songs that get stuck in your head—in the best way possible. Every week, I’m going to share three tracks that are either in rotation here on Q102 or just something living on my personal playlist that I think you need to check out.

This isn’t a “Top 40 countdown,” and it’s not about the charts—it’s just about the songs that are hitting me right now, and maybe they’ll hit you the same way.

Here are this week’s three tracks that I can’t get enough of:

1.) PRESIDENT – Destroy Me

Every once in a while, a band comes along that just stops me in my tracks—and PRESIDENT has done exactly that. Their release In the Name of the Father had a completely different energy than anything else out there right now. Maybe it’s the mystery of the masks, maybe it’s the sheer intensity of the music—but I cannot get enough of what they’re putting out. Their debut EP King of Terrors is coming soon, and I’m counting the days.

2.) Revis – Killing Time

Talk about a throwback with a fresh punch. Revis is dropping their new album Killing Time on November 7th, and I’m hyped. I’ve been a massive fan since their debut album, Places for Breathing, hit in 2003. (Yes, I was there at Remington’s for the Nintendo Fusion Tour with Evanescence and Cold—what a night!)

The lead single is loaded with killer riffs and lyrics that just hit right. If this is a taste of what’s coming, the rest of the record is going to blow us away.

3.) Austin Meade – Almost Famous

Austin Meade is hands-down one of the best-kept secrets in rock today. His albums are fire, his videos are a blast, and he’s the kind of guy who just does his thing—zero fucks given.

His 2022 album Abstract Art of an Unstable Mind was one of my favorites of that year, so I’ve been not-so-patiently waiting on the follow-up. Good news: his new album Almost Famous drops November 7th—and it cannot come soon enough.
