Supporting Our Neighbors: Local Food Pantries & Ways to Help

As the government shutdown continues, many families across the Ozarks are feeling the impact. From government workers missing paychecks to those relying on SNAP benefits to feed their families. With the holidays fast approaching and colder months ahead, it is more important than ever to make sure no one in our community goes hungry.

BELOW is a list of food pantries and organizations across the Springfield metro and surrounding counties that are stepping up to help. Whether you are in need of assistance or want to lend a hand, these local partners are here to support you.

If you are looking for a great way to donate food items RIGHT NOW, we are actively taking donations as a part of our, ROCK OUT WITH YOUR CANS OUT, benefit concert for Ozarks food harvest, happening November 14th. Thank you so much for all of your support!

How You Can Help

If you’re in a position to give, even a little, your help makes a huge difference. Here’s how you can support our neighbors:

  • Donate non-perishable food items (canned goods, pasta, peanut butter, rice, etc.) to any pantry listed above.
  • Volunteer your time at a local food distribution or holiday drive.
  • Spread the word — share this post with friends, family, and neighbors who may need these resources or want to help.

Together, we can keep our community strong — one meal, one act of kindness at a time.
